As one of Kent's leading kitchen, bathroom and bedroom design and installation companies, Abacus Kitchens have been a Family Trade in the South East since 1979, covering Kent, Essex, Hertfordshire, Surrey, West Sussex & London

My father Rod Bere commenced designing and installing kitchens in 1979. His son, and my brother Jeremy joined him in 1988 as a fitter. Kev and Steve have also fitted for us for over 15 years. We also have our fitter Aaron, who first joined in 2002. We were previously based at 57 Eyehorne Street, Hollingbourne, Maidstone, Kent. In April 2000 son Michael (myself) joined the company. In 2002 Abacus moved to 4 Appledore Court, Allington, Maidstone, where father Rod Bere retired, leaving son Michael to continue with the success of the company. We have since moved Abacus Kitchens to Ashford, Kent to suit the growing needs of the company.

With a wealth of experience and knowledge, we pride ourselves as a family run business offering a professional yet personal service. We have an extensive range of over 400 different door styles and to complement this, we have a range of competitively priced appliances, worktops, wall and floor tiles to add the finishing touches to complete your dream kitchen.

Abacus have built a reputation for providing both quality and value to suit all budgets by offering impartial advice on all aspects of kitchen, bathroom and bedroom planning. We come highly recommended as confirmed by our book of references.

We offer a complete service to include a free survey by the Design Team and installing and finishing the kitchen, bathroom or bedroom by one of our experienced Installation Teams. This includes, if required, a complete electrical overhaul to the kitchen.

We aim to work closely with clients advising and helping them to select doors, worktops, appliances, lighting, wall and floor tiles to guarantee a final design that is both practical and pleasing to the client.
